Yes. Please provide your original proof of purchase together with the relevant IGI diamond certificate where applicable. These documents must also be included when your jewellery is sent to CIELA for professional inspection.
No. Photos and information submitted online are used for initial eligibility review only. Your final trade-in valuation is confirmed after your jewellery has been physically inspected by CIELA.
If your Trade-In passes the initial review, we’ll arrange a Royal Mail Special Delivery collection from your address. Please securely package your jewellery and include your original proof of purchase and the relevant IGI diamond certificate in the parcel.
Please do not send your jewellery until you have received collection instructions from CIELA.
Nothing proceeds without your approval. If you choose not to accept the final valuation, CIELA will cover the standard cost of returning your jewellery to you. Please refer to our Trade-In Terms.
Once you accept your final valuation, your CIELA Credit will be issued digitally and sent to you by email.
CIELA Credit is valid for 2 years from the date of issue and can be used towards eligible CIELA jewellery or qualifying bespoke and redesign projects.
If your jewellery does not meet the Trade-In requirements following review or inspection, no CIELA Credit will be issued. Any return arrangements will be handled in accordance with our Trade-In Terms.
