What is an IGI grading report? +
An IGI grading report records independently assessed characteristics of a specific diamond.
Which CIELA diamonds come with IGI certification? +
CIELA centre diamonds of 0.50ct and above are supplied with an independent IGI grading report. The threshold applies to each centre diamond, not the combined diamond weight of a piece or pair. Smaller diamonds do not automatically include a report; product-specific report information is shown in the product details.
How do I verify my IGI report? +
Use the unique report number shown on your documentation to access the corresponding grading information through IGI.
Is the report specific to my diamond? +
Yes. The grading information and report reference relate to the specific diamond described in the report.
Is an IGI report the same as a valuation? +
