WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL AND LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS?
Both natural and lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, with the same chemical, physical and optical properties. Natural diamonds form within the Earth, while lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment using advanced technology. Lab-grown diamonds offer the same brilliance and durability at a more accessible price, allowing you to choose a larger or higher-quality diamond within your budget. At CIELA, the diamond type is clearly stated on every product page, with an IGI report provided where applicable.
How can I be sure your jewellery is genuine?
We clearly state the metal and gemstone specifications on every product page. Centre diamonds of 0.50ct and above include an IGI report, while selected smaller diamonds may also be certified. Precious metals are independently hallmarked by a UK Assay Office where required by law.
IS YOUR JEWELLERY WATERPROOF?
Our solid 9K and 18K gold and platinum jewellery can withstand occasional contact with water without losing its colour. However, to protect its finish and stone settings, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, exercising or using cleaning products. Genuine precious metals may naturally develop signs of wear over time, but with proper care and professional polishing, their brilliance can be beautifully restored.
What if I change my mind after receiving my order?
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. The item must be unworn, unused and returned in its original condition and packaging. Personalised and bespoke pieces cannot normally be returned. Return & refund policy
Will my order arrive beautifully packaged?
Yes. Every order is beautifully presented, and a complimentary CIELA gift-box upgrade is available. You can also add a personalised greeting card and a message of up to 200 characters.
What is your jewellery trade-in service?
Because genuine precious metals and diamonds retain lasting value, eligible CIELA jewellery can be traded in for CIELA credit. Simply submit photographs and purchase details for an initial assessment, then send your piece to us for professional inspection and valuation. Once accepted, you will receive a CIELA Gift Card that can be used towards a new piece or a bespoke redesign. By giving fine jewellery a new life, the programme supports a more sustainable way to purchase, redesign and pass on jewellery for generations.
